Bishop Ronald Richardson Sr. attended Mason Kelly Washington Religious Training Institute, 3rd Jurisdiction of ENY and completed an Evangelism course in May 1994. In April 1995 Bishop Richardson completed courses in both Christian Worker, and General Survey of Bible Study. In 1996, he graduated from the United Christian College where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Theology and a Bachelor Degree of Religious Education. Bishop Richardson was appointed Chief Adjutant to Bishop Aubrey Baker of the 2nd Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, Church of God in Christ, Eastern New York. In addition, Bishop Richardson was a National Adjutant in C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of the Presiding Bishop Gilbert Earl Patterson and Bishop Charles Edward Blake. Bishop Richardson is a member of the Joint College of Bishops in Cleveland, Ohio.

Bishop Ronald Richardson, Sr. joined the Outreach Church of God in Christ in February of 1992 under the leadership or Reverend Richard L. Lacey, Founder and Pastor where he was a dedicated and faithful servant. He was ordained as an Elder in 1997, served on the Trustee Board, handled office and church financial business, taught Bible Band, and Y.P.W.W. In 1994, he started the Outreach Neighborhood Ministries Food Pantry, a free breakfast and lunch program.

In 2001 Bishop Richardson was awarded the Black Heritage fellowship Award from the NAACP, New York Branch. Bishop Richardson, Sr. is not only active in the church but in the community as well.

While living in New York he was appointed Assistant to the President of Carpenter Local Union 2947, elected as Trustee for the New York City Industrial Council of Carpenters, appointed Financial Spokesperson for the Frank E. Cook Memorial District and elected the Financial Secretary of Union 2947. In addition to serving the church and the community, Bishop Richardson served his country as well; e was a member of the United States Armed Services and fought in the Vietnam War from 1968-1969. Bishop Richardson is a member of the V.F.W. (Veterans of Foreign War).

Bishop Richardson not only dedicates himself to serving and teaching the members of Bread of Life Church, but he does community outreach as well. Since moving to Delaware, Bishop Richardson now serves as a Volunteer Chaplin at Bayhealth Medical Center as well as starting an A.A. (Alcohol Anonymous) called Bridge of Life. Bishop Richardson believes strongly in helping those in need in every area of life, in keeping with the tradition, he open a Food Pantry in 2012 at Bread of Life Christian Church. Bishop Richardson is also a member of The Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Dover Delaware and Vicinity.

Bishop Ronald Richardson Sr. is a kind, cooperative, spirit-filled Man of God. He is always giving of himself and his resources. He loves God’s people and they love him! Bishop Richardson is a wise leader who is willing to teach, counsel and share his education, and knowledge in the Body of Christ. He has proven himself to be the lover of the Gospel and one to study himself approve unto God, a workman that is not ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

Bishop Ronald Richardson, Sr. along with his wife Apostle Faye K. Richardson is the anointing covering of Bread of Life Christian Church. Apostle Faye K. Richardson is the Senior Pastor of Bread of Life Christian Church, which was established by Jesus Christ and entrusted to the Apostle and the Bishop. The Church is an apostolic and deliverance ministry that demonstrates the signs the signs, wonders and miracles of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
