Foundational Principles

A Commitment to Bible Based Teaching II Tim. 3:16-17; Gal. 1:8-9  All scripture is inspired by God and is relevant to the true teaching of God’s Holy Word. The Word of God shows us the wrong in our lives and brings us to his light, preparing us to be fully equipped in the work of God. If any other Gospel be preached, it is not of God.

A Commitment to Develop Members In The Local Body Eph. 4:11-12; Acts 2:42 God gave these gifts to the church:  The Apostles, The Prophets, The Evangelist, The Pastors, and The Teachers.  Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work, to build up the church and the body of Christ for the continual advancing of his kingdom.

A Commitment to A Genuine Change of Life  Rom. 12:1-2 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I beseech you to willing present your bodies to God.  Let them be a living and Holy sacrifice, for this is acceptable, and our reasonable service.  As we yield to Gods transforming power and grace we become new creatures no longer conformed to this world, but transplanted into the kingdom of God.

A Commitment to Evangelism & Outreach Prov. 11:30 We must become all things to all men to win them.  We will share in the oppression and sufferings of others finding common ground to bring them to Christ.  The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

A Commitment to Team Ministry Cor.12:5-6 There are various types of services in the church, but the same Lord and administrator.  A spiritual gift is given to every member to strengthen the body.

A Commitment to A Ministry Of Excellence Is. 60:15 Everyone’s work will be put through the fire to see if it retains its’ value.  Some build upon the foundation with gold, silver, wood, and hay, but for the ministry we must give our all, being hated and forsaken for an eternal joy unto many generations.

A Commitment to Growth and Unity In The Love of Christ I Cor. 13:13; Eph. 4:16 The whole body fitly joined together through the love of Christ becomes unified for growth and special works.  Under the direction of the Holy Spirit the body is made healthy and whole, to serve a broken and unhealthy society.
